Act smart – buy art. Ten first-class artists were invited by Amateur Magazine to paint in an old carhouse in Aarau, Switzerland. The fresh artworks that were painted during the event got sold in an auction just afterwards whereas the knockdown prices depended on the painting time: 2 bucks per minute.

More than 500 spectators enjoyed the first edition of this unique concept, appreciating the insight into the process of various styles of contemporary art and illustration in a laid-back atmosphere, and bought more than eighty percent of the works created.
